Last Thursday evening, Sevier County traveled to Hardin Valley Academy with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses. They won the game by a score of 29-3. The Smoky Bears #47, Joey Galazin, was a big reason that the Hawks were held to a field goal for the game.
Galazin is a junior, outside linebacker, who plays every week with a high level of intensity. On Thursday, he had a total of 12 tackles, and 2 of those were for a loss. This kind of play is what has helped his team keep this year’s winning streak going. Galazin was also the Your High School Sports player of the game.
Galazin has the great speed and the ideal strength and size for the position that he plays. He will be helping lead his defensive this Friday against rival Morristown-Hamblen West, as the Smoky Bears hope to be 7-0.
